CONTRACTOR COMMENTS
New siding is estimated to be 2 or 2 1/2 times the cost of painting, given an estimated payback of 10 years or less.  While improving appearance, it offers energy savings and maintenance-free benefits.  The greater “curb appeal” of new siding also makes a home easier to sell.

REALTY COMMENTS
A homes “curb appeal” has become more important in today’s resale market.  Better appearance and maintenance-free features are an obvious plus, with the energy-saving aspect continuing to be an important item with potential buyers.

FINANCIAL COMMENTS
Consumers are well aware of the many benefits of new siding with insulating board underneath.  Better appearance, no painting, longer product life and maintenance-free feature keeps a home more sale-able at all times and creates a good resale/finance value as well.
